Scholarship Coverage
Shandong University offers two types of scholarships: Full and Partial. The Full Scholarship covers tuition, living expenses, accommodation, and medical insurance, while the Partial Scholarship covers tuition and medical insurance.

Degree & Age Requirements
- Bachelor’s Applicants: High school graduate or equivalent, under 25 years old
- Master’s Applicants: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, under 35 years old
- PhD Applicants: Master’s degree or equivalent, under 40 years old
- Strong academic performance and research skills required
- Cannot hold another Chinese government-funded scholarship while receiving the SDU Scholarship
Language Requirements
For Chinese-Taught Programs:
- Bachelor’s: HSK 4 (≥ 210 points)
- Master’s: HSK 5 (≥ 180 points)
- PhD: HSK 6 (≥ 180 points)
For English-Taught Programs:
- Native English speakers (U.K., U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand) exempted
- Other applicants must submit:
- IELTS (≥ 6.0) or
- TOEFL (≥ 80, MyBest Scores accepted, DI code: C296)
- Applicants with a degree from an English-instruction institution do not need IELTS/TOEFL but must provide official proof.
