Established in 2014 through a $65 million donation by Andrew and Nicola Forrest via the Minderoo Foundation, the program aims to position Western Australia as a global research hub. Fellows will conduct high-quality research at a Western Australian university while also contributing to mentoring and leadership within the Forrest Research Foundation.
